The 500 Series connection boxes offer increased pair capacity while maintaining an industry footprint.
The 34 way stainless steel back-mount frame verticals support punch down 237 IDC strips giving a normal capacity of 340, 680, 1020 or 1360 pairs depending on the model.
A unique feature of the 500 range allows an extra 5 way back-mount to be fitted under the standard verticals increasing the capacities to a roomy 390, 780, 1170 or 1410 pairs.
The door opens through a full 180 degree for ease of access. It can be removed entirely using quick release hinges and is easily reversed for left-right opening applications. The door is fully lockable and is equipped with a large document wallet for system documentation.
Full cable entry and management facilities are included with ample jumper ring provision, 80mm knockouts in the sides, or by removing one or more parts of the two piece gland plates located at the top and bottom of the cabinet.
Lightning protection is fully supported. The back-mount frames are connected permanently to a 5 way earth terminal.
