A range of Insulated Ring Terminal Lugs from leading lug manufacturers such as, Cembre, the Greenwoods insulated ring terminal range includes:
PVC Insulated Ring Terminals - manufactured from PVC into a unique funnel shape which guarantees total insertion of the conductor strands into the terminal barrel, creating a secure and reliable, electrical and mechanical connection.
Reinforced Insulated Ring Terminals - designed to offer a maximum efficiency under heavy duty applications. These ring terminals are manufactured by involving the cable insulation into the crimp and utilising a copper sleeve which is located between the barrel and the PVC sleeve.
Nylon Insulated Ring Terminals - manufactured from electrolytic copper, rolled, tin plated and brazed. The interior of the nylon insulation sleeve is funnel shaped to ensure complete and easy introduction of the conductor strands.
Halogen-Free Insulated Ring Terminals - manufactured from polycarbonate (a halogen-free self-extinguishing thermoplastic material class VO (UL94)), the entry is funnel shaped to guarantee total insertion of the conductor strands into the terminal barrel, creating a secure and reliable, electrical and mechanical connection.
The maximum temperature for the halogen-free lug is 115°C (surge 130°C)
