A range of stripping tools perfect for use with the range of cables used in the telecoms industry, this range includes:
- Adjustable fibre-optics tube cutters – An adjustable stripper which can be set for any depth ensuring that the stripping of the cable remains problem free. Each stripper comes complete with three straight blades and one round blade.
- Three-hole fibre strippers – The three-hole model performs all of the common fibre stripping functions in one tool featuring; standard 250 to 125 micron stripping, removal of 900 micron tight buffer coating to 250 micron buffer coating and a hole for removal of 2mm to 3mm fibre jackets.
- Fibre-optics stripper – The fibre-optic stripper is to strip 250 micron buffer coating from 125 micron optical fibre featuring a 0.14mm diameter hole and ‘V’ opening in blade to allow accurate buffer coating removal.
- Kevlar scissors – The Kevlar stripping tool is suitable for stripping Kevlar or Aramid yarns and for cutting light duty cables. The carbon blades are chrome plated with a cutting length of 40mm.
- No-Nik fibre-optic stripping tools – Designed for removing insulation from high-quality, coated wires without nicking the conductor. The plastic head centres and supports the wire on both sides of the cutting blades. The blades score the insulation completely around the conductor, but do not completely cut through it and expose the conductor.
- Siecor tube splitter – Perfect for splitting loose tube cables where entry span into tube is required. Each tool consists of two halve which are folded together with a cutting blade on each side.
