A wide range of compact versatile Digital Distribution Frames (DDFs) designed to provide space efficient packaging of coaxial 75 ohm high density (HDC) type 43 connectors. Available in heights and widths to match existing telecoms frames, such as ETSI. They are also available in alternative formats which increase packaging density and a wide range of cable management accessories can be provided. HDC43 offers the following features / benefits over current European DDF systems:
- Space Saving - 2 HDC43 DDF's on a 600mm x 600mm footprint, 2.6mtr hight) can accommodate 896 circuits ranging from 2-155Mbit/s (3584 x connectors). 2 600mm x 750mm HDC43 DDFs, (2.6mtr high) can accommodate 1792 circuits (7168 x connectors) giving significant cost savings through reduced space requirements.
- Rear-jumpering - Ensures safe cable management as circuits are cabled from the rear, connecting at the front with u-links. This prevents ciscuits being accidentally disconnected.
- Monitor Ports - U-links have optional monitor ports which enable continuous monitoring of the circuit without interfering with live traffic and causing loss of service.
- Quick Installation - These connectors are easier and quicker to terminate than 1.6/5.6 and 1.0/2.3 with only one crimp action and no requirement for soldering. The connectos then 'snap-into' the HDC43 DDF block, eliminating any locking nuts and saving time.
- Labelling - Sufficient space is provided for circuit identifiaction
